However, take note that the cutting speed shouldn’t be the only concern of your cutting works. To get a clean and smooth cutting edge, it is necessary to operate the machine at the most suitable working speed.

The power output of the laser source will affect the cutting speed. And the cutting speed will affect the cutting quality. When the output is fixed, there is an optimal cutting speed range. Any speed above or below this range will impact the flatness of cutting edges.

Cutting too fast

When you meet the below phenomenon, it means that you sat the cutting speed at a higher point beyond the optimal range. Laser beams don’t have sufficient time to contact the material sheets, and the cutting quality is affected.

1, Flying light sparks all over but cannot cut through.
